Baekundongcheon: The Stream Turning at Every Corner and into the Clouds
The Cheonggyecheon Museum is holding an exhibition on the theme of Baekundongcheon Stream, the main tributary of the Cheonggyecheon Stream, on December 15, 2017–March 25, 2018. The show begins with the question about the original source of the Cheonggyecheon Stream and illustrates how the Baekundongcheon Stream and Seochon, the residential area west of Gyeongbokgung Palace, changed during the period from the Joseon Dynasty to the Japanese colonial rule of Korea. The exhibition will offer viewers a valuable opportunity to explore the waterways of Seoul and uncover the stories hidden in the downtown stream.
